Where's Cara? (Volume Five)
In the last busy weeks, my publications have stacked up. Here are some new ones for you! I've love to hear what you think of particular pieces in the comments!
As always, you can find a more complete list of my work on my Published Work page.
If you've been reading my work long, you probably know that I'm a bit of a Lauren Winner fangirl. My editor at Off the Page wanted me to write something about her wonderful new book, Wearing God, and I suggested taking her lead and exploring a metaphor for God on my own. It turned into one of my favorite essays and made me think deeply (much like Lauren's book). It's about God as water.
To continue with the beverage theme, I got to interview Stephanie MacLeod, a master blender of Scotch for Dewar's. She's the first woman in their history in the role, and only the 7th master blender of all time in their 170 year history.
Christie Purifoy is the latest delightful guest in my monthly author interview series for Off the Page. You can listen to us talk, or read the transcript. Her book is all about home, longing, and the reality of what happens when dreams come true. It's a perfect companion to take with you through the seasons, both natural and liturgical.
I hope you've enjoyed this edition of Where's Cara? let me know your thoughts in the comments!
